How to have your data deleted

Email hello@scantara.ai with the subject Delete my data, from the email address you sign in with. If you only ever used Scantara through Telegram or WhatsApp, say so and send the message from that chat as well, so we can match it to your account.

We confirm by reply, and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and email address.
• Every watch, reminder, mission and page you created, and everything they found.
• Any Telegram or WhatsApp connection, including the number or chat identifier we held to deliver your alerts.
• Any Gmail or Google Calendar connection, including the access we were granted, which is revoked rather than left dormant.
• What we learned about you from connected mail to shape your pages.

What we have to keep

Records we are required by law to retain, such as billing records for paid plans. Free early access creates no billing records. Nothing kept for legal reasons is used for anything else.

Things you can do yourself, right now

• Disconnect Gmail or Calendar at myaccount.google.com/permissions. This stops us reading anything further immediately.
• Stop chat messages by deleting or blocking the Scantara chat in Telegram or WhatsApp.

Neither of those deletes what we already hold, which is why the email above is the complete route.
